Zain Hussain was a Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW) Peaceworker at BASIC from September 2018 – July 2019. He worked on helping to overcome the obstacles to a WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) Free Zone in the Middle East. Between 2013 and 2017, he completed an undergraduate degree in Arabic and Hebrew and in 2018 an MA in International Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. He continues to work in interfaith dialogue between the Muslim and Jewish communities. He also works as a Hebrew teacher for King’s College London.
