BASIC is committed to protecting the personal data of all our contacts. The below policy explains how we collect, process and store your personal data and how you can remove it from our records should you wish to do so

Professional Contacts:

BASIC colleagues collect the first names, last names and contact details (email addresses and/or telephone numbers) of our professional contacts. This information is collected through the exchange of business cards or via sign-up sheets at events we host. It is therefore only collected by consent. This information is stored on Google Contacts, using secure passwords and a two-step verification process. It is used for work purposes only and not accessible to anybody outside BASIC.

Newsletter Subscribers:

Our newsletter sign-up form records the first names, last names and email addresses of our subscribers. We use this data to send out the latest information about BASIC’s activities, such as our events and publications. Our newsletter service provider is called Mailchimp and you can view their own privacy policy here. All of our subscribers have opted in voluntarily, we do not send spam. Mailchimp has an ‘unsubscribe’ option so recipients can choose to stop receiving our newsletters at any time.
