EVN Townhall Meeting for the 2023 Early Career/Youth Consultation on the NPT PrepCom process

This year’s EVN Early-career and youth consultation project is aimed at exploring regional barriers to, as well as opportunities for engagement of early career professionals with the NPT PrepComs and ultimately the overall NPT Review process.

With funding support of the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, nine early career leaders from nine different regions around the world have been acting as ‘EVN youth consultants’ gathering information from their respective regions on perspectives on the upcoming PrepCom process.

This EVN townhall meeting provided an excellent opportunity for early career professionals to voice their regional views and perspectives. The views shared at the townhall, in the survey, and at the previous regional focus group meetings, will be collated by the EVN youth consultants and will contribute to the reports and working papers that they are currently drafting. These reports will then be presented at a launch event in early June.
