Congratulating BASIC Policy Intern, Fabian Hoffmann

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to our policy intern Fabian Hoffmann on his recent career success. Fabian is moving on to a part-time role as Research Assistant with the IISS office in Berlin, where he is going to support the Defense and Military Analysis Programme.

Fabian took up a paid internship with BASIC from February to April 2021, leaving at the end of last week. During his time with us he provided excellent research assistance on the Programme on Nuclear Responsibilities. We were particularly struck by the efficiency and high quality of his writing, and have every confidence that Fabian has a long future in this field. We are delighted that he has been able to move into a strong position so soon after leaving us.

During his time with us, Fabian also published on cruise missile proliferation with the European Leadership Network and The Strategy Bridge.
