Tim Westmyer, the host of the Super Critical Podcast, invited BASIC’s Co-Director Sebastian Brixey-Williams to record a 90-minute episode on the 1982 graphic novel and 1986 animated film ‘When the Wind Blows,’ which tells the story of James and Hilda as they try to survive the aftermath of a nuclear blast. It’s a black tragicomedy originally authored by Raymond Briggs, but not suitable for very young children.
