BASIC Annual Report 2017

2017 was a tough year for nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation as states continued to modernise their nuclear arsenals with more usable nuclear weapons, nuclear tensions flared on the Korean Peninsula, and the impact of the Trump Presidency on multilateral diplomacy became evident.

Nevertheless, BASIC continued to work across political divides, promoting an inclusive dialogue to advance global security. Read our latest Annual Report to find out how we worked towards creating a world free of the risk of nuclear annihilation over now the course of 2017.
