Recommendations from a report by BASIC board member Andrew Cottey were quoted in the Irish Evening Echo on July 11, 2010. The report was published to coincide with talks on multilateralising disarmament. The Paris meeting on June 30 and July 1 involved the officially recognised nuclear weapon states, the U.S., UK, China, Russia and France, which are also the permanent member of the UN Security Council.
