The Emerging Voices Network (EVN) at BASIC, in collaboration with Norway MFA, is organising Senior Expert Masterclasses. The EVN’s Senior Masterclasses are our opportunity to tap into the fantastic network of experts that BASIC is lucky to have, to ask them to deliver their expertise to the EVN. The masterclasses are both skills and content-based. This is a primarily digital resource to make access to expertise more equitable for our global, diverse membership.
On Wednesday 10th May, Professor Andrew Futter, Professor of International Politics at the University of Leicester and PI on the European Research Council-funded Third Nuclear Age project, presented a Masterclass entitled ‘Welcome to the Third Nuclear Age’.
In this Masterclass, Professor Futter explains and unpacks the key drivers of this more complex nuclear environment and outlines the main challenges facing the continued maintenance of the global nuclear order.
