Future 25: Shaping the Next Generation of Policy Ideas

Wednesday, July 22, 2015 (All day)

On July 22nd, BASIC joined up with Future Foreign Policy (FFP) to celebrate its Next Generation Shapers project and the launch of FFP’s FUTURE25 foreign policy competition with a networking event in London for the next generation of policy shapers.

BASIC launched its Next Generation Shapers project in late 2014 to bring new voices into the nuclear weapons debate and inspire the next generation of policy shapers to apply forward thinking and experience beyond the nuclear field to create new approaches to progress on the nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament debate.

In May 2015, Future Foreign Policy launched FUTURE25: a new foreign policy competition for millennials, encouraging students and young people aged 18-29 to prepare foreign policy recommendations to the UK government, highlighting their vision of 2025 and the key challenges that we will face in the next 10 years.
