Join us on March 30th 4 PM Korean Standard Time for this capstone event platforming the voices of the Asia-Pacific – register here.
Since 2020, EVN Members have been meeting as Working Groups to develop and deliver policy papers on critical areas in nuclear policy. The next step in the evolution of the EVN is to platform and highlight the expertise within the Asia-Pacific, and to facilitate the engagement of this expertise with the existing EVN network.
This event brings into focus the nature and intensity of the relationship of Asia-Pacific states to nuclear issues, as well as welcoming new EVN members from the region. It will examine, critique and celebrate the unique and vital contributions of Asia-Pacific states and civil society to the global non-proliferation and disarmament agenda.
The event will begin with a keynote address, followed by a substantive panel featuring three regional experts. This will be followed by a breakout room session in which participants start to develop the agenda for EVN activities in the near to medium term.
